As for other platforms, we offer precompiled binaries as a convenience to users, but we strongly encourage all users to download the sources and to compile them, since doing so allows you to customize the software to fit your needs and is an important first step toward understanding how it works. See the WFDB quick start for Mac OS/X (Darwin) for step-by-step instructions.
The WAVE binary (for PPC Macs only) available below was contributed by David T. Linker, M.D., from the WFDB software package sources, version 10.3.11, the Fink libwww binaries, and Logan Donaldson's port of the XView 3.2 package, under Mac OS/X 10.3.2.
